Meter intelligence
AI that understands meters: which one fits, how to install it, what the readings mean.
It answers from published documents and authorised data, checks its own answers, and hands over to an engineer when it is not sure.
Three assistants
One for each question that costs people time.
Selection and fit
Does this meter suit my pipe, my medium, my site? Answered from the published catalogue and installation rules.
Installation and pipe
Where to put it, how much straight run it needs, what to check before you clamp it on.
Readings and status
What the curve says, whether the meter is healthy, when to call someone. Needs authorised access to the readings.
What it reads
Published and authorised.
- Published catalogues, datasheets and installation guides.
- Site details and readings an owner has authorised it to see.
- The question you ask, and the photos or sketches you attach.
What it does not read
Nothing it was not given.
- The text of enquiries sent through any website we operate.
- Readings or accounts without the owner's authorisation.
- Anything from the open web during a conversation.
How it avoids making things up
Cite, check, hand over.
Cites published documents only
Every claim about a product points to the document it came from. No document, no claim.
Checks each answer
A second pass checks product, fit and installation claims before you see them.
Hands over to an engineer
When it is not sure, it says so and passes the question, with the context, to a person.
Illustrative conversation
What an answer looks like.
Pick a question. The answers are written examples, not a live assistant.
Sample questions
Will a clamp-on meter work on my DN50 copper chilled-water pipe?
Clamp-on ultrasonic meters are made for this kind of pipe. Three things decide the fit: the pipe size and wall, the material, and a straight run of pipe before and after the meter. The published pipe table lists the sizes and materials each model covers, and the installation guide gives the straight-run rule.
What I cannot tell from here: whether the pipe has a lining or heavy scale inside. If you can share a photo or the pipe spec, I will check; otherwise an engineer will.

The reading drops to zero every night. Is the meter faulty?
Not necessarily. A reading of zero while the pump is off is expected on a chilled-water loop. Two checks: does the drop line up with the pump schedule, and does the signal strength stay normal during the drop?
If both are yes, the meter is fine. If the signal drops too, that points to coupling or installation, and I will hand this to an engineer with the readings attached.

Where should I install the meter on this plant-room layout?
I need a straight run of pipe with no bends, valves or pumps for a given length before and after the meter; the installation guide states the lengths. From a sketch or photo I can mark candidate positions and the ones to avoid.
The final position is confirmed by an engineer on site, so I will pass my marks on with your drawing.

Built before
A meter assistant for a clamp-on meter brand.
A public assistant that helps prospects understand fit, pipe impact and installation before they log in; an authenticated assistant for diagnostics, flow analysis and pipe configuration; specialist agents behind both; and a verifier that checks product claims before they are shown.
Named with the client's consent. Otherwise shown like this.
Where this goes
Three stages, each with a gate.
-
Pilot
Stage 1
First replies on the international site
The selection assistant answers first in English, from the published catalogue only. Starts when the brand owner agrees.
-

Stage 2
Cloud readings, internationally hosted
The readings assistant reads data from the brand owner's cloud platform with the owner's authorisation. Waits for test accounts.
-

Stage 3
Subscription services
Assistants and analysis as a service for owners, integrators and brands. Decided after the pilots.
